General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the Use of the Sell Time App
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the use of the Sell Time app (hereinafter referred to as the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these GTC. Please read these GTC carefully before using the App.
1. Use of the App
1.1 The “Sell Time” App allows users to create posts to buy the time of others or sell their own time.
1.2 By using the App, you agree to utilize the features of the App in accordance with these GTC.
1.3 The use of the App is only permitted for individuals who have reached the legal minimum age. By using the App, you confirm that you have reached the required minimum age.
2. Posts and Communication
2.1 Users can create posts to buy the time of others or sell their own time. The App merely serves as a platform for the publication of such posts and is not responsible for the content of the posts.
2.2 Communication between users within the App, including messages, is the sole responsibility of the users. The App assumes no responsibility for the content or consequences of such communication.
2.3 Users may also receive emails from the App containing relevant information and updates. By using the App, you agree to receive such emails.
3. Data Privacy
3.1 The App collects and stores certain user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3.2 We also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help analyze how users use the App. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the App (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the App, compiling reports on App activity for App operators, and providing other services relating to App activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
3.3 The data stored by the App includes, among others:
- cookieAccepted: Indicates whether you have accepted cookies (true, false).
- sell-time-lang: The language setting of the App.
- access_token, refresh_token: For App authentication.
- chat_id, user_id: For message tracking, allowing the last opened message to be reopened when accessing messages.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and additional data may be collected. Your Privacy Policy should contain more detailed information about the data collected and its purposes.
It is important that users of the App are informed about the collection and use of their data and have the opportunity to consent to this collection.
4. Disclaimer
4.1 The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, or quality of the App.
4.2 We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the App, including loss of profits, data loss, or business interruptions.
5. Changes to the GTC
5.1 We reserve the right to change these GTC at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the App. Your continued use of the App after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of these changes.
6. Final Provisions
6.1 These GTC are subject to German law.
6.2 In the event of disputes arising from these GTC or the use of the App, the court at the registered office of the App provider shall have jurisdiction.
